臺南市永康區的泰國佛寺每年11月舉行盛大的慶典活動，文藻大學東南亞學系今年亦未缺席，113年11月9日由本系陳正娟老師、阮國榮老師率領學生團隊前往禮佛。此慶典提供當地的泰籍移工和新住民獨特的宗教和文化體驗，每年皆吸引不少人參加。今年活動預計包括僧侶誦經、供奉和祈福等儀式，並搭配泰式美食攤位和文化表演。這些活動不僅展示了佛教精神，也融入了泰國特色，如供養僧侶、放水燈等象徵幸福和祈福的傳統習俗，讓本系師生能在臺灣體驗地道的泰國傳統文化。

The Thai Buddhist temple in Yongkang District, Tainan, hosts an annual grand festival every November. This year, on November 9, the Department of Southeast Asian Studies at Wenzao Ursuline University participated, led by Professors Chen Cheng-Juan and Ruan Guo-Rong.  

The festival provides a unique religious and cultural experience for Thai migrant workers and new residents, drawing significant participation each year. This year’s events included monk chanting, offerings, and blessing ceremonies, complemented by Thai food stalls and cultural performances. Traditional Thai customs, such as monk alms offerings and floating lantern rituals symbolizing happiness and blessings, allowed faculty and students to immerse themselves in authentic Thai culture without leaving Taiwan.
